Welcome to HautePink!

Hello and welcome to my first post!

I hope by now you've taken a look at the About page to know who the face behind the website is and to get to know me a little better.

I was hesitant to start blogging, telling myself every excuse so I wouldn't have to start writing. Some of the excuses: no one reads blogs anymore (FYI they do), no one will care what I have to say (this one is still true), I'll watch Netflix for a bit and work on it later (this happened way more often that it should've), and a ton more that will take me days to list.

I wouldn't have had the guts to start this blog without the love and support of a lot of people close to me (you'll find photos of all of them in the About page). There were a lot of hard days *cue sad violin*, but I learned that being happy and finding something I enjoyed doing was SO important.

I'm going to end this post before it sounds too much like an About page monologue, but before I go I just wanted to thank you guys big time for being here and shaping my story.
